During the last few days of summer vacation a friend and I decided to take our kids for a quick get away while both of our husbands were gone. We had heard about a hotel that was built in the shape of a cruise ship which sounded intriguing to us and we made reservations before heading in that direction.
How cool is this...
They even had a recording with seagulls and a ship's horn playing all around the area.
Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with our plans very well. Thankfully it didn't rain the entire time that we were there, but we didn't see the sun at all either, just a lot of overcast days. A little rain and clouds didn't stop the kids from playing in the sand and ocean.

My friend and I just watched and took pictures. It was way too cold for us to get in that water. |
The grounds of the hotel were beautiful.

Those are peeing boy fountains. |

Even with the overcast skies the water was crystal clear and a beautiful green color. |
There was a sculpture garden with all sorts of interesting statues. Taylor and her friend tried to recreate one of the sculptures and to not be outdone my friend and I tried to recreate it as well.
The mountains led right into the ocean.
Almost every restaurant in the area served seafood. We found this little hut, right on the beach, that served a delicious seafood soup and a seafood Korean pancake. We ate lunch there everyday.

This lady prepared our food. She made everything from scratch. |

This man is cleaning the sea junk off the muscles that they used in our soup. |

They used the old shells to make bouquets. |
Another awesome adventure in Korea.
