Dinner Shoes

Lucy had a very favorite pair of shoes that were too dressy to wear to school.   She loved them because of the tapping noise they made when she walked on the hard wood floors.  She started to wear them to dinner every night and began to refer to them as her "dinner shoes".  I knew that whenever I called everyone to the table that it would be a few minutes before Lucy came because she had to go put her dinner shoes on.
