After the movers came to pack up our things we still had a few days to live in our empty house.
This was before our shipment to storage was taken away. We still had the mattresses from the girl's beds and we had the sleeper sofa.

Our Christmas snowman "Floyd" watched over the girls for a few nights before he left in the storage shipment. |

He really looks like he is enjoying that sleeper couch. |

We lived out of these suitcases from the end of April until the middle of July. |
After the storage shipment was gone, we really had to improvise. Thankfully we only had one night in the house like this. Russ and I slept on the hardwood floors with just a couple of blankets that I had kept out to put in the express shipment. (We are getting to old to sleep on the hard floors, the next morning we were both complaining how our hips were killing us.) While the girls used their sleeping bags.

This was how I found Russ "resting" one afternoon. Yes, that is a boot he is laying his head on. |
We were so excited to finally be moving into the hotel for our last couple of nights in North Carolina.
To add a little excitement all 4 of us got strep throat during our last few days in NC, we were all on antibiotics and I had to take Lucy to the ER because she had gotten so sick. There is never a dull moment in the Pound family.
