Roadtrip Part 7-ID to Seattle, Washington

The final leg of our trip was from Idaho to Seattle, Washington.  By this time we were really sick of the car.  We spent 5 days in Seattle.  We had to turn our car into the storage facility to be stored for the next 3 years, and we did some sightseeing.
Good bye Stella.  See you in 3 years.

We took a tour of the Boeing plant.  It was fun to watch them make airplanes.
They wouldn't let us take any pics inside of the plant, but it was fun to watch the planes take off and land as they "test drove" them.
I read about this donut place online.  They make their own donuts and have unique flavors.

Russ loves Filson clothes and the brand was started in Seattle.
The dessert after one of our last dinners in America.

We had lunch at the top of the Space Needle.  It was a rotating restaurant.  The food was delicious and there was no pressure to keep moving.  The girls loved it.
The original Starbucks is in Seattle.

These are pictures from gum wall.  I read about this wall (it is below Pike's Market) online and knew it was a "must see" for our family.  It was disgusting, but we all had fun adding our pieces of gum to it.  (Don't worry we all used A LOT of sanitizer afterward.)  It is hard to see how much gum is on the wall, but at some places it was a couple inches thick.  Gross and cool at the same time, huh?

The flowers were beautiful and cheap!  I wish I could have bought some to take home with me, but we were flying out the next day.
